This is not to suggest that south-facing House are inauspicious, as believed by many. It is very well possible to construct a house on a south-facing plot, by adhering to the principles of Vaastu. By suitably locating the kitchen, water tank, toilet, entrance and leaving open space to the east and north, one may be healthy, happy and prosperous in a south-facing house too.
- The Main Door of the House should be slightly towards the eastern side from the centre.
- The Staircase of the House should be constructed on the South-West side.
- The walls towards the South and West Should be Heavy.
- The underground Water Tank of the House should be in the North-East Direction.
- Overhead Water tank of the House should be in the West Direction.
- Master Bedroom in the House Should be in South-West Direction.
- The kitchen in the House should be in the South-East Direction.
